Sunbeach Honkytonk was retired in 1997 after a successful show carrier in which he earned the titles of National Champion, Reserve National Champion, Reserve World Champion and earned his Superior Event Award. Also numerous World and National Championship Top10 placings in Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter Hack, Pleasure Driving, Pre-Green Hunter and Suitability for Dressage.
